Jesus said there's nothing more important in life than loving God and loving others. That's it. It's all about love. Through this website I'd like to help you grow in your understanding of how to do both of those things well.
After looking at me in all those pictures up there, you might be thinking, "This Gudgel guy is old." I used to think that about my dad, when he was my age. Now I realize I was wrong. Sorry dad!
But the cool thing about getting older is that it gives you a lot of time for a lot of experiences: I've been married for forty-plus years; We've raised three children - who are now married with young kids of their own; I've worked for 35+ years as a spiritual engineer (you may know that as pastoring). God has given me a lot of experience helping a lot of people in a lot of different ways. And I'd love to take some of what I've learned and help you too.
If someone had asked me when I was a kid "What do you want to do when you grow up?" the last thing I would have said was "I'm going to be a pastor." In fact, I can remember watching our pastor preaching and thinking I would NEVER want to do what he does! But God had other plans. As a pastor I've been a student and teacher of the Bible, authored several books, and done a lot of speaking. And all of that's given me a lot of learnings and resources that I hope can help you in your life's journey.
